A number of Manchester United stars have packed up from Carrington to play for their respective nations with most heading into the final round of Euro 2016 qualifying for the tournament in France.

Here is a look at the Red Devils who are taking part in international duty over the next fortnight.

Germany

The first red to be on international duty will be the summer signing Bastian Schweinsteiger when he is expected to take part in Germany’s match at the Aviva Stadium when they take on the Republic of Ireland.

The world champions will know that a victory over the Irish will earn them qualification from group D for the highly anticipated tournament in France next summer and if victory in Ireland does deceive them, they will have the opportunity again on the Sunday with their home match against Georgia.

Northern Ireland

Young defender Paddy McNair has been named in Michael O’Neill’s squad and he will hope that he can earn his fourth international cap in what is Northern Ireland’s biggest match in recent history as they can reach their first major tournament since 1986 with a victory over Greece at Windsor Park and they will be hoping that qualification will be in the bag ahead of Sunday’s match with Finland.

France

Both Anthony Martial and Morgan Schneiderlin could represent Les Blues on Thursday when they host Armenia in their latest friendly game at the Allianz Riveria having already qualified automatically for next summer’s tournament as hosts.

Ecuador

Antonio Valencia and his Ecuador will kick off their 2018 World Cup qualifying campaign on Friday when they take on Argentina, however the winger will not be coming up against his teammate and Argentine defender Marcos Rojo due to a hamstring injury that has kept him out of side since the victory over Southampton.

Valencia will be one of the final reds to finish their international duty when they take on Bolivia next Tuesday.

England

A quartet of United players will be hoping to represent England in this international break with Wayne Rooney, Michael Carrick, Chris Smalling and Phil Jones all been called up by Roy Hodgson for the penultimate games against Estonia and Lithuania with qualification already secured but will be looking to maintain their 100 percent record in qualifying.

Spain

David De Gea and Juan Mata are expected to be taking part in Friday’s match with Luxembourg with victory all but securing their place in next year’s tournament and will hoping that qualification will be secured ahead of their long trip to Ukraine for their final group game.

Italy

Matteo Darmian’s nation is another that is on the brink of qualification with Italy heading into the game with Azerbaijan knowing that a victory will see them through as Antonio Conte’s side currently sitting top of group H with 18 points and will look to round their qualification campaign with three points against Norway on the Tuesday.

Netherlands

The Dutch duo of Daley Blind and Memphis Depay have a huge contest on their hands on Saturday and Tuesday when they take on Kazakhstan and Czech Republic in must-win matches in group A and hope that third-placed Turkey will lose one of their two matches with Czech Republic and Iceland for a chance to earn a play-off place.

Belgium

The final player to taking part in international duty will be midfielder Marouane Fellaini take on Andorra and Israel as they look to continue to pursue high-flying Wales in group B. Adnan Januzaj who is currently on loan at Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund was not named in Marc Wilmots’ latest squad.
