Newcastle United travel to Loftus Road in search of a victory to secure their Premier League status against already relegated Queens Park Rangers.

Rangers, who were sent down after a 6-0 humbling at the hands of Manchester City last weekend, have been a shambles on and off the pitch recently for - with players turning on each other in interviews after their immediate return to the Championship was confirmed.

There will no doubt that it is likely to be another massive overhaul for Chris Ramsey's side in the summer, but he will hope for a decent performance in their final game of the season - whilst looking to keep his hopes of holding onto the job alive.

Newcastle United, meanwhile, under the tenure of John Carver have had an equally shocking end to the season - but they stopped an eight game losing streak last week with a 1-1 home draw against West Brom, which has eased their relegation fears, especially following Hull's defeat to Burnley.

The Magpies have actually dropped down the table to 17th, but Carver's side know if they win at QPR and Hull fail to win at Tottenham Hotspur - then they won't be heading back to the Championship for the second time in six years.

Daryl Janmaat returns from a one game ban for Newcastle but Mike Williamson who was sent off in the same game at Leicester still has one game to serve on his ban.

Siem De Jong with a thigh injury and Adam Armstong with a calf strain will join long term absentees on the sidelines for Newcastle but Rolando Aarons is fit again.
