1651 FULL TIME. Saints Win comfortably after goals from Morgan Schnederlin and Graziano Pelle cancel out Mark Noble's deflected effort in the first half. Set Pieces were West Ham's undoing as they defended poorly and Southampton and Ronald Koeman will go home happy

1650 Southampton fans enjoying the OLE football as no doubt they'll be happy to take the 3 points away from Upton Park

1649 West Ham sloppy in posession concede a costless kick in their own half. Something which has been their undoing today on set pieces

1644 West ham have been poor today, and the fans are voting with their feet. Southampton now are dominating the possession and look comfortable for their win

1640 GOOOOOOOALLLLL Graziano Pelle gets his first Premier League goal, Clyne's cross is parried out by Adrian and it falls into the path of Pelle who hammers it home. The 3 points are heading to St Mary's

1637 Enner Valencia on for Carlton Cole

1635 Saints almost go 3-1 up after Adrian has to save well from Ramriez's shot

1632 Neither side really making strides. Southampton understandably are shutting up shop to take their first 3 points

1629 Ward Prowse off for Jack Cork

1605 Long has an effort from range which needs a good save from Adrian

1604 the sides are out for the second half, West Ham get us under way

1558 Both sides are level at the break. Neither side have created many chances but have taken both of the chances that have fallen their way. West Ham's was slightly more fortunate but both goals have followed from poor defending. Will be interesting to see if this theme continues after the break

1549 The Referee blows the whistle for Half Time

1546 Some suspicions that Pelle applied the final touch. One for the dubious goal panel

1546 GOOOOOOOOALLLL - Morgan Schneiderlin applies the finish after some poor defending from a costless kick. 1-1 just before the break

1543 The Left side again is causing West Ham problems but Bertrand is ushered out by Tomkins on this occassion for a Goal Kick

1541 A solid west ham midfield is keeping Southampton at bay. Shane Long's position on the right is making him look totally alien to the position. More width needed if they want to get back in to this

1535 Tadic again causing problems down the left. His ball finds its way to Ward Prowse who's half volley finds a man in row Z

1532 Graziano Pelle has his header cleared off the line. Despite it being a tame effort it's so far been Southamptons best chance

1528 GOAAAAAAAAAAAAAL Mark Noble's Shot from 20 yards takes a heavy deflection which causes Fraser Forster to misjudge the ball. 1-0 to the Hammers

1527 Both teams are trying to play long balls into the box with neither side really producing anything yet. Saints have yet to really trouble Adrian in the West Ham goal

1523 Chaos in the box causes the ball to fall to Vaz Te who's first tim shot is saved brilliantly by Fraser Forster. The resulting corner is then cleared by Southampton
