Dortmund continue their winning ways in the 2014/15 Champions League as they eased past the Belgian Pro League champions Anderlecht by a score of 0-3. Ciro Immobile got the visitors off to a flyer as the Italian striker found the back of the net in the  third minute of play. The other two goals came off the bench as Adrian Ramos, who is also in his first season with BVB as he completed his brace in the 79th minute of play.

Japanese sensation Shinji Kagawa has been revitalized since his move back to Dortmund after a spell with England giants Manchester United fell without making any impact whatsoever. But, in the third minute of play in tonight's Champions League as he sent a sublime through ball over the top of an Anderlecht defender that fell straight to Immobile. The forward took a couple of touches and sent the ball behind Silvio Proto.

Anderlecht equalized two minutes later through 20-year-old Serbian striker Aleksandar Mitrovic put the ball past Roman Weidenfeller, but the assistant referee correctly adjudged him to be in an offside position, stemming the home sides celebrations. That was about all that they could muster for the match as the Belgian outfit just could not really maintain possession for long periods of time that would allow them to breakdown the Dortmund defense.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was alert and looked to pounce early and often as he could sense the pressure that his side was putting on the home sides back four. It seemed as though the Gabon winger was on the end of nearly every single attack, but he just could not break the flood gates open. In the 23rd minute of play, Aubameyang hit a right footed shot that missed the target just to the left. Three minutes later, he had an attempt saved by Proto which looked destined to find it's way across the goal-line and double his clubs lead, but nothing came to fruitition.

The second half was not like the first. Yes, the Dortmund scored twice more, but they were sloppy. Anderlecht came out with a little bit more pressure, which caused some stress for Jurgen Klopp. Adrian Ramos came on to replace Kevin Großkreutz five minutes after the hour mark and well, the rest is history.

Lukasz Piszczek crossed it to the new striker who then fired the ball from the center of the box with his left foot and found its way past the superb Proto and gave Dortmund some much needed breathing room. Ten minutes later, Ramos rounded off his brace and killed off the match with a superb strike right before the 80th minute from about the same spot in the box as Dortmund remain in first as they next take trip to Turkey to face Galatasary. Meanwhile, Anderlecht will face another daunting task as Arsenal pay the Belgian club a visit in three weeks time.
