Sweden will be without influential striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic as they take on France tomorrow, following his release from the squad after scoring in his return to injury at the weekend.

One of a number of changes expected for Erik Hamren’s side, Zlatan will be joined on the sidelines by Mikael Lusting, who is recovering from a thigh injury. Meanwhile, the visitors will also be without Marcus Berg, who has returned home after feeling unwell, and reserve goalkeeper Johan Dahlin who has returned to Turkish Super Lig club Gençlerbirliği.

I still have many goals in mind... Winning Euro 2016, becoming a great player, winning the Champions League.

As a result, Helsingborg’s Emil Krafth has been drafted into the squad from the Under-21 line-up, but is unlikely to feature for the Scandinavian side.

However, Didier Deschamps will also be without imperative squad members on his return to former club Marseille. Expected to field a number of Olympique Marseille players on home turf, Steve Mandana is likely to replace Tottenham Hotspur’s Hugo Lloris, while Andre-Pierre Gignac is also a potential starter.

One player who will notably hope to impress Deschamps is Paul Pogba, who received considerable criticism for his lacklustre performance in their recent 1-1 draw with Albania. The former Manchester United youth product has insisted his recent contract extension at Juventus will not make him complacent as France aim to secure the European Championships on home soil in 2016.

Excluded from qualification as a result, Les Bleus have featured in a number of friendlies, which included a 2-1 victory over Portugal – as Pogba secured the winner for France.

The 21-year-old recently put pen-to-paper on a new five year deal at the Juventus Stadium, but is adamant he will not let his performances weaken as a result. He said:

"I still have many goals in mind. I'm glad I signed but it is not finished for me, I want more. This is not going to give me a big head."

"Winning Euro 2016, becoming a great player, winning the Champions League. The contract with Juve will allow me to move forward to meet my goals.

"I know I did not give the best of myself, I can do much more," he said. "The next game I will wake up and show my best, and this match against Albania will be forgotten. I was prepared, I knew it would be tough but it was not my day, that's all."

Having lost just one game throughout the calendar year, in the quarter finals of the FIFA World Cup to eventual winners Germany, the European nation will hope to add to an impressive 4-0 victory over Norway, a 5-2 triumph of Switzerland and an 8-0 demolition of Jamaica, which saw Blaise Matuidi, Karim Benzema and Antoine Griezmann all net braces.

Sweden are also demonstrating an impressive run of form, unbeaten in their last five matches. Their last defeat came back in June, in which Romelu Lukaku and Eden Hazard inflicted a 2-0 defeat in Sweden.
