Ezequiel Lavezzi's representatives have said that the Argentine winger is in talks with Chelsea, however, Inter Milan are hot on the trail too.
The Argentine has been linked with a move away from Paris for some time now, and with his contract running out in the summer, PSG might want to ship off their 30-year-old attacker.
Argentine attracting interest across Europe
Inter manager Roberto Mancini has claimed he is interested in the former Napoli winger, however, Alessandro Moggi, who works closely with Lavezzi’s agent, has now claimed that Chelsea have entered the race for the winger’s signature.
Moggi told Sport Mediaset that "Inter are certainly showing the greatest interest in the player, but there are also many other clubs in Europe keen on him, including Chelsea and Barcelona" before stating that he might "even leave next summer" when his client's contract comes to an end.
Liverpool have always been a club that has shown interest in Lavezzi but, due to Chelsea’s atrocious season so far, the Blues might have to beat Liverpool and Inter to the signing of Lavezzi.
Lavezzi has found trophies, not goals, easy to come by in Paris
Lavezzi joined the Ligue 1 giants in the summer of 2012 after five seasons at Napoli, where the Argentine, Edinson Cavani and Marek Hamsik guided Gli Azzurri to their first piece of silverware since the days of Diego Maradona.
Since his €26million move to France, Lavezzi has remained an important part of the PSG side that has dominated French football for the past few years, mainly due to the Qatari takeover in 2011.
During his time at PSG, Lavezzi has won the Ligue 1 title an impressive three times, as well as two Coup de la Ligue cups and one Coupe de France. The 30-year-old has also played over 150 games for the club, however, his goal scoring tally hasn’t been on par with his tally at Napoli, scoring just 34 goals in all competitions for the Ligue 1 champions.
