The Polish striker has a contract until June 2014 with Borussia Dortmund and will go to Bayern on a costless transfer. It is speculated that he will sign a four-year contract earning him around €11 million per season.
TV Presenter Mateusz Borek (@ BorekMati), announced Sunday morning on Twitter that Robert Lewandowski will announce his summer move to Bayern Munich on January 2. Mateusz tweeted it hours after an interview with Lewandowski himself in a Polish football show called Cafe Futbol.
The Polish striker has been with Borussia Dortmund since 2009, winning two titles in the Bundesliga (2011 and 2012), a DFB Pokal (2012) and gained worldwide exposure in the knockout stages of the Champions League , where he scored vital goals. He scored all four goals in the 4-1 victory against Real Madrid , being the only player to score four goals in a semifinal of the biggest club competition in the world.
