Bayern Munich's Sporting Director Matthias Sammer has insisted that Croatian forward Mario Mandzukic is not for sale this summer.
The 27-year-old has been linked away from Allianz Arena due to the arrival Robert Lewandowski this summer.
"Nobody even has to bother making an approach for Mandzukic.
"He's incredibly important to Bayern. I always affectionately say that he plays like an animal," Sammer said.
Mandzukic's goals have again been essential to Bayern this season, the former Wolfsburg forward has scored 17 goals this season for the Bavarians.
Sammer said: "It is simply amazing how much work he does for the team and how much running he does during a game."
