Apart from Sebastian Rode, Ibrahima Traoré and Tolga Cigerci securing deals at Bayern Munich, Borussia Mönchengladbach and Hertha Berlin, the main story in the Bundesliga world today is regarding Borussia Dortmund's enigmatic coach Jürgen Klopp.

The Spanish paper 'Sport' have been reporting that Barcelona are targetting Klopp and Germany boss Joachim Löw as possible replacements for Gerardo 'Tata' Martino, after the Argentine has had a less than impressive start to his tenure as the Catalan's coach. Tata exited the Champions League to Atlético Madrid after a 2-1 aggregate defeat and lost further ground on the Madrid side following a 1-0 defeat to lowly Granada on Saturday. The two German's are heading the club's list, but seem to be keen to give Martino time in the job. The paper also speculated that Barcelona would make a €35million move for Marco Reus, who has been in a rich vein of form recently. Yet this too looks doubtful, as Reus' buyout clause is unable to be activated until the Summer of 2015. Manchester United and Real Madrid are among a host of clubs who are competing for his signature come that time.

BILD have been reporting Eintracht Frankfurt will miss out on Red Bull Salzburg coach Roger Schmidt. The Austrian has previous in Germany, with stints at Preußen Münster and SC Paderborn, though he has been extremely succesful with the current Austrian champions. Coming second in his first season in charge, Schmidt transformed the side and won the league at a canter, whilst reaching the latter stages of the Europa League. The stumbling block for Frankfurt is the €1.5million they'd have to pay in compensation to acquire the coach, who would replace the departing Armin Veh. Now that the eagles look set to miss out on Schmidt, Stuttgart and Leverkusen are ready to pounce, with the latter trying to secure a deal with Slovenian winger Kevin Kampl in a potential double swoop.

Hannover managing director Dirk Dufner has said that a decision to sign, on loan HSV striker, Artjoms Rudnevs would be made in, "the next few days." The Latvian. who has a €2million buy-out clause, has scored three times since he arrived at the AWD-Arena.

Paper Weser-Kurier reported Besiktas are not the only side interested in Aaron Hunt, today. The Turkish giants are favourite for the Werder Bremen midfielder's signature, who will leave on a costless this Summer. Lazio, Roma and also Bayer Leverkusen have thrown their hat into the ring for the tireless midfielder, Hunt is available on a costless after he declined a contract extension at the Northerners.

Bayern Munich's Rafinha has been suspended by the DFB, following his sending off against Borussia Dortmund on Saturday. The Brazilian was sent off after putting his hands in Henrikh Mkhitaryan's face and was dismissed immediately by referee Feliz Zwayer. Also in Bayern related news, 'Kölnischen Rundschau' report Daniel van Buyten will be offered a contract with the club, who are almost guareenteed a return to the Bundesliga after a 1-2 win away at Union Berlin this weekend. The Belgian defender would be offered a further year extension, if he so wished. Manuel Neuer also completed some individual training today, this after the Bayern keeper was subsituted at half time on Saturday in the defeat to Dortmund with calf problems.

Lazio sporting director Tare has hinted that the club are close to agreeing a contract extension with legendary German striker Miroslav Klose. Tare said, "We have made good progress in negotiations." Klose has been at the capital club since 2011, scoring thirty goals in seventy-eight appearances.

Javier Pinola is celebrating the birth of his third child, after his wife gave birth on Saturday. The defender missed Saturday's defeat to Wolfsburg to be with his wife during labour, as they welcomed their first baby girl into the world. On the topic of Bundesliga babies, Kevin-Prince Boateng and his wife will be in hospital tomorrow as they give birth to their child. We wish both good luck and hope they are happy and healthy children.
