Eintracht Frankfurt have signed Lucas Piazon on a season-long loan from Premier League outfit Chelsea.

Piazon, 20, spent last season on loan in Holland at Eredivisie club Vitesse, where he was directly involved in 19 league goals last season, which all occurred before the winter break.

After joining Chelsea from Sao Paulo in 2012, Piazon was subsequently loaned out the following season to Malaga CF for a six-month period.

Eintracht Frankfurt's sporting director Bruno Hübner told the clubs website: "We are glad that we were able to reach an agreement after lengthy, but very fair negotiations with Chelsea."

Piazon was part of Brazil’s Under-20 squad which won the prestigious Toulon Tournament this summer.

The attacking player will be handed the number 19 shirt for the upcoming 2014/15 Bundesliga season. Piazon can play in a number of positions including either wing or just behind the main striker.
