Yet more conflicting reports have appeared today concerning the Christoph Kramer transfer saga.

As most of us know Kramer is on a two-year loan at Borussia Mönchengladbach from fellow Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen that is due to end this upcoming summer. The player himself said to Bild; “I am going back this summer, not because I have to but because I fully believe in their concept." However speaking to Kicker today, the 23-year-old was quoted as saying, “Nothing is decided yet."

This will be music to the ears of the horde of European clubs chasing him including Real Madrid, Manchester United and Arsenal as well as his current side Mönchengladbach. The aforemnetioned side have expressed an interest in the €15 million-rated Kramer, in what would be a club record fee for die Fohlen. Later on in his interview with Kicker the World Cup winner said, “I have a contract in Leverkusen starting from summer 2015. Thus it looks like I will be playing for Bayer next season.”

Kramer also replied to the recent criticism that came his way, courtesy of German World Cup Winner Berti Vogts, who stated among other things that, “Kramer contributed precious little to the World title,” to which Kramer replied with, “On the pitch I always give my all and I think it shows. And if I run too little, I wonder what he has to say about the mileage of all the other players." He was joined by club coach Lucien Favre who leapt to his defence declaring, “I can only speak positively about him. He always gives everything for us.”
