Xherdan Shaqiri has struggled to cement a place in the strong Bayern Munich side since joining from Basel for €11.2 million two years ago. The Swiss midfielder is reportedly keen to stay at the Allianz Arena but its believed the club are eager to let him leave.

The 23-year-old has found his game time limited since his big move from Swiss club Basel; with both Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben at their full potential, coach Pep Guardiola has found it hard to integrate the attacking player in to the strong München team.

A number of clubs are set to be interested in the winger, including English clubs Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool. Juventus and VfL Wolfsburg have also shown interest in Shaqiri. The Swiss midfielder, who has made 52 Bundesliga appearances scoring 11 times, is said to be most interested in a move to Wolfsburg and is keen to stay in Germany.
