Erzgebirge Aue have signed Stefan Mugosa on loan until the end of the season, while Ciro Henrique Alves Ferreira e Silva and José Luis dos Santos Pinto are currently on trial with the Violets.

22-year-old Mugosa joins from fellow 2. Bundesliga side FC Kaiserslautern, in the search for more regular first team opportunities.

The Montenegrin striker, who has been given the number nine, will help bolster an Aue front-line that has lost several players this January, due to injuries and transfers.

Club President Helge Leonhardt spoke about the transfer: "We are pleased that with Stefan we have found an attacker who will definitely help us in the fight against relegation. In this way, we thank 1. FC Kaiserslautern for the consistently positive discussions and negotiations."

A pair of Brazilian players have also joined on a trial basis. Ciro Henrique (Alves Ferreira e Silva) and Zezinho (José Luis dos Santos Pinto) have joined up with the team after arriving from Brazil.

Ciro Henrique was a Brazil under-20 international, scoring five times in seven games, before failing to make his mark at Maldonado and the resulting loan moves.

Zezinho, a central-midfielder, was also at Maldonado and then had a brief, unsuccessful stint with Atlético-PR.
