Greuther Fürth have finally made an addition to their faltering attack, signing winger Zlatko Tripic from IK Start.

Born in Rijeka, Croatia, Tripic was brought up in Norway and came through the youth systems at Lyngdal and Tonstad, before moving on to start his professional career with Egersund.

He then was signed up by Molde, where he managed just 39 appearances in three years. Now at Start, Tripic has managed to score six times in 28 games and earned his move to the 2. Bundesliga.

Michael Mutzel, director of football at Fürth, gave his opinions on Tripic: "Zlatko is a young player who, in the Norwegian league, has already demonstrated his skills. He is technically gifted, strong and can be used in various positions in attack."

The Shamrocks have struggled to score goals this season, their tally of twenty-two is the only better than four other sides; three of which occupy the bottom five places.

The 22-year-old has been handed a two-and-a-half year deal, running through until June 2017. He could make his debut against 2. Bundesliga table toppers FC Ingolstadt, although Mutzel did elude to the fact he would be given, "time to acclimatise".
