SC Paderborn 07 head coach André Breitenreiter has been handed a boost ahead of the game against Bayern Munich this weekend, with Christian Strohdiek and Marvin Ducksch making a comeback to full training.

Michael Born, director at Paderborn, confirmed the news to German sports magazine kicker on Wednesday morning.

Strohdiek was involved in a serious car accident last week, but thankfully made it out largely unharmed and was given some time to recover from the incident.

He missed the weekend win over Hannover 96 and has since completed small amounts of training on Monday and Tuesday, before returning to team training on Wednesday.

A regular at the heart of their defence, he could find it hard to make an instant return against Bayern due to Rafa and Uwe Hünemeier's fine performances in the much-needed 1-2 win on Sunday.

Loanee striker Ducksch has also rejoined the Westphalians in full training after he broke his metatarsal during their training camp in Belek.

The 20-year-old scored once since his arrival from Borussia Dortmund though he has largely struggled to find form in Paderborn, having only started once all season.
