Köln and Hannover are set for a showdown tomorrow in what is a must win for either side.

With both teams not too far from the drop zone, three points for either club is going to be massive for their safety. These two clubs first met back in September, and the game lacked excitement throughout.

The only significant chance the home side saw was put away by Joselu to give Hannover the 1-0 win.  Köln have been absolutely woeful at home picking up only eight points in their last ten games.

Both sides have also been horrendous in front of goal as of late as both sides have only scored five goals since the break.  Hannover are just a point in front of their opponents tomorrow in tenth place on 25 points and are maanged by Tayfun Korkut.

Christian Schulz will miss tomorrow's game as he is suspended, but the return of Leon Andreasen from a five-month injury should give the squad a boost tomorrow.  The top goalscoer for The Reds is Joselu finding the back of the net seven times.  Since the break, Hannover have picked up just a single point in four games which was a 1-1 draw at home against Mainz and have only scored three goals in those four games.

Köln's fortunes in front of goal haven't been that much better than Hannover's scoring only twice which happened in a 2-0 win at Hamburg.  On the bright side, their league form is just slightly better than their counterparts picking up five points in four games but lost their last game 1-0 to Borussia Mochengladbach.

Managed by Peter Stoger, the Billy Goats look to take this tie this time around in hopes of getting a season split.  Top goalscorer for them is Anthony Ujah socring six times.  History between these two clubs is as close as you can get as Hannover leads this series with 20 wins over Koln's 19 wins and seven draws.

With both sides struggling since the break, this game has a scoreless draw written all over it.
