Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jakub Blaszczykowski will miss at least the next two games through injury.

The Polish international suffered a groin injury during the 1-1 draw away at Hoffenheim on Saturday. Blaszczykowski was substituted four minutes before half-time and BVB confirmed on their official Twitter account on Monday that the 29-year-old had sustained a torn abductor muscle.

Blaszczykowski's injury is the latest setback in his 2014-15 campaign, with the 29-year-old having missed the first half of the term with knee ligament trouble. Dortmund are hoping he will be fit for the final Bundesliga game against Werder Bremen.

Should he not make that game, both the player and club will be confident he will be available for the DFB-Pokal final against Wolfsburg.

This adds to the bad news for manager Jürgen Klopp, who has striker Adrian Ramos injured for the rest of the season. Klopp is keen to end his spell at Dortmund with qualification for the Europa League and will be hoping there will be no more injury problems for the final three league games and the DFB-Pokal final.

Dortmund currently sit ninth in the Bundesliga, three points off a Europa League place.
