German sports magazine, kicker, have said that 1. FC Nürnberg will not renew the contract of Czech defender, Ondrej Celustka.

Celustka only joined the Frankenstadion outfit last summer, arriving on a free transfer from Turkish side, Trabzonspor.

He went on to establish himself as a key component of side, playing in 31 of the 34 2. Bundesliga games.

The 26-year-old Czech Republic international was expected to have his contract extended this summer, after murmurs that René Weiler's side were keen to keep him as part of the set-up.

That has not materialised however, and the former Sunderland AFC man will now leave this summer. Javier Pinola is expected to follow a similar path.

Pinola was handed a massive send off from his fans, before their last game of the season against VfR Aalen. He has reportedly been offered a short-term deal on less wages, though has turned it down.

Nürnberg, despite a few rough patches and a change of manager, still managed to finish ninth - although they were early favourites to regain their Bundesliga status at the first time of asking.
