Karlsruher SC made their second signing in as many days, as they secured SpVgg Unterhaching striker, Pascal Köpke.

The 19-year-old made 31 appearances for Unterhaching, though his 11 goals were not enough to keep the club in the 3. Liga.

Andreas Voglsammer, Michael Zetterer and Kenny Prince Redondo have all moved on to higher divisions this season, with the former two joining Bundesliga sides.

Köpke, who was called up to replace the injured Tim Kleindienst in Germany's under-20 World Cup squad, has been rewarded with a 3-year deal at the Wildparkstadion.

"As a young player Pascal has put on good performances and scored 11 goals in a difficult 3. Liga season," said KSC sporting director Jens Todt commented.

He added: "He brings a lot of power, ambition and a lot of potential for development with him."

"KSC is the next step for me," noted Köpke. "I had a good feeling from the start of the discussions and am looking forward to the new challenge."
