According to kicker, Hannover 96 are interested in bringing in FC Sion striker Moussa Konaté.

Hannover have started the summer by bringing in some good additions in the shape of Oliver Sorg, Felix Klaus, Philipp Tschauner and Charlison Benschop. Despite their early purchases they need to bring in more after seeing plenty of departures, especially in the striker, department with Jimmy BriandDidier Ya Konan and Joselu all heading for new adventures.

Konaté has shone at Sion

One striker that has been mentioned to replace one of those men is Senegal international Moussa Konaté. The 22-year-old was in tremendous form last season for FC Sion. After making the move to the Swiss side from FC Krasnodar, the striker fired in sixteen goals in the league and four in the cup.

Before last ter, the Sion forward only managed six goals in previous three campaigns. However, at the age of 22, he looks like living up to his potential and there are a host of clubs looking to secure his signature - from St. Etienne in France to Newcastle in England.

Only time will tell if Hannover win the race for Konaté and if he does move to Germany, some time will be needed if he's to fire in for fun like he did in Switzerland. Sion will want to keep their main man, however they may not have a better chance to cash in on him after the golden season he just had.

Bech could be a viable alternative

Should the Lower Saxony side miss out on Konaté, Uffe Bech could be the man to satisfy their striking needs. The 22-year-old Danish forward, who is currently with FC Nordsjælland, enjoyed a successful breakthrough with his new club.

He also was part of the Danish under-21 side that reached the semi-finals of the 2015 UEFA under-21 European Championship. To top if all off, Bech has already made his full debut for Denmark national team.
