Walter Mazzarri was unveiled as Inter coach today in a press conference in which he stressed that he will do his entire best to bring the Nerazzurri back to their peak.

He stated that "Inter has the necessity to become competitive again, to battle and compete" and that "success is achieved through paying attention to details, hard work and sacrifices."

He continued on to emphasize his training regime in saying "In today's football you have to be prepared on a physical and mental level. For me, training is sacred and not to be missed."

Mazzarri hinted on a squad transformation when he said "Inter have to do better than last season because the squad will be better."

However, he was discreet about any transfer details as he stated that "I wont discuss the transfer market with the media, I'll do that with the club."

Finally, he was asked about his relationship with his former player at Sampdoria, Antonio Cassano, and he answered "I have an excellent relationship with all of the players I have worked with. Last season during our match against Inter Antonio said hello to me as he took a throw-in that was close to the technical area. That says everything."
