PSG have launched a bid for Napoli striker Edinson Cavani. The Uruguayan is the most wanted player this Summer in the Transfer Market. Chelsea, Real Madrid and Man City had all previously been linked with the tall striker, but it looks like PSG have entered the race.

According to Sky Sources Paris St Germain have lodged a £43million bid for the Napoli striker Edinson Cavani. Cavani has a buy out clause in his contract, a fee of 60 million euros would have to be offered to Napoli before they will consider selling their prized asset. New Napoli manager, Rafa Benitez, has stated that the club will not accept less than the player's buyout clause: “The President and I want to keep him, he’s a really important player and we are hoping that he’ll continue scoring a lot of goals for us. Saying that, obviously there is that clause in his contract and if he does leave then it will only be for that amount. Who wants the boy will have to pay for him even if we don’t need the money."
