Alessio Cerci has his name missing from Torino's Europa League qualifier game against Croatian team, RNK Split. The news comes on the same day that Cerci and Atletico tweeted that he was joining the Spanish champions, both of which were deleted immediately. Cerci was quick to respond saying that he did not tweet that as 'he was busy playing playstation'.

The talented winger appeared 32 times in the league for the Turin side, scoring 13 times and assisting equally as many. If the former Roma man does leave, he will be the 9th player to exit, following the influencial figure of Ciro Immobile (Dortmund - €19.8 million).

Torino will only sell for around €25 million, making him roughly Atletico's second biggest signing this Summer after French Winger Antoine Griezmann who arrived for a fee of €30 million. Cerci will complete the La Liga holders frontline, with manager Diego Simeone likely to play a 4-3-3 with Mandzukic through the middle, and Griezmann and Cerci regimented either side.

Torino take on Spilt in Croatia this evening at 19:30 kick off. The second leg in Turin is to be played on the 28th of August, with a 19:30 kick off also.
