Top of the table Juventus host a struggling Parma, who sit 19th with just 6 points from 10 games.

Having lost 8 league games already this season, a disastrous start to their campaign finally demonstrated potential, as Roberto Donadoni’s side ended a run of six straight defeats to overcome Inter Milan last weekend.

Nevertheless, Gli Emiliani remain in the relegation zone ahead of their trip to Juventus Stadium. Following his sides recent performance, Donadoni is expected to field an identical squad to that who overcame 9th placed Inter Milan, but are aware that they face a whole new challenge.

Massimiliano Allegri’s side have fallen to defeat just once all season in the league, but last season’s Serie A winner did struggle on the European scene. Juventus lost to both Atletico Madrid and Olympiakos in Group A of the UEFA Champions League, but salvaged a 3-2 victory over Olympiakos the second time round on Tuesday, with attempts from Andrea Pirlo and Paul Pogba, either side of a second half own-goal securing the win.

Allegri does face a selection headache though, with both Fernando Llorente and Alvaro Morata, after Morata left the field after 58 minutes during their mid-week European victory. However, the Italian is believed to keep the same starting line-up elsewhere on the field.

Having conceded just four goals throughout their domestic campaign, Juventus should look to withhold the pressure of the relegation strugglers, who have an impressive tally of 14 goals, double the amount of other teams in the drop zone.

I Bianconeri will also be very aware of the troubles Parma are facing at the back, and having conceded 23 goals in 10 games, have the worst defensive record in the league. With 18 goals scored, Juventus proudly sit third in the goal scoring tables so far in Serie A.

A defeat for Parma could see them fall to rock bottom in the league, while Juventus will look to extend their current three point league over second placed Roma.
