After a scoreless draw against AC Milan last weekend, Inter Milan doesn't have many chances to qualify for the UEFA Europa League next season and Brazilian defender Juan Jesus - who has been playing mostly as a left-back under the management of Roberto Mancini - talked about this and several other subjects in a press conference held today at Inter's facilities.

The Brazilian defender had nothing but praise to the fans as they stood by them even when they were unable to defeat their old bitter rivals in what was a very uneventful performance.

"The crowd certainly give us a massive hand," the defender told media. "The San Siro was amazing. I got goose bumps when I stepped out there."

The Brazilan also talked about his new role and even though he said he's better suited to play on the middle, he said he feels he's improving on a wider role and he feels he will only get better with time.

"I think I've improved and the stats back that up. Playing at full-back is helping me a lot," the 23-year-old said. "I had a so-so month and I'm the first to admit it but I'm getting better. I have to try and help out the team wherever I play. If I'm honest, I feel more comfortable playing centre-back but I find it easy to play out wide too."

Juan Jesus also talked about the team's chances of making it to the Europa League this year, competition where they also participated this season but where they were eliminated in the Round of 16 against Wolfsburg.

"As long as it's mathematically possible I believe we can do it," he added. "It's a shame about the result (draw against Milan) on Sunday, especially considering Fiorentina's result. We have seven matches left to play, there are still points to be won and we'll just try to get as many on the board as possible."

Finally, the 23-year-old concluded by saying he "feels at home at Inter" and that he would "never change the team for anything". Juan Jesus is expected to feature in Mancini's starting XI when Inter plays against AS Roma on Saturday.
