The 22-year-old Brazilian midfielder was one of Lazio's best players this past season and his efforts were instrumental as the team clinched a UEFA Champions League play-off berth for the upcoming campaign.

Knowing Lazio isn't one of the big teams in Europe, Anderson has been the subject of plenty of speculation regarding a possible transfer as teams like Milan and Bayern Munich are reportedly targeting him, but the managed to shut down the rumors and committed himself to the Roma side shortly after signing a five-year extension with the squad.

"What I know about my future is that I will play with Lazio, and I have recently renewed my contract for another five years," Anderson told LaLazioSiamoNoi.it.

"I am focused only on Lazio, I don't think of anything else. I don't know of any other offer, my future is at Lazio."

Anderson will take part of the upcoming Copa America with Brazil as manager Dunga has included him in the 23-men roster for the tournament. Even though he doesn't profile to be a starter, he didn't hide the fact that's he's excited for the upcoming challenges the national team has in the coming years.

"My goal is to be at the 2016 Olympics," he added. "After the opportunity I had with the national team I am even more motivated just to train I think.

"The Olympics is a very important competition and winning a medal would be great, something I have dreamt about a lot.

"But now I want to enjoy this golden opportunity and just focus on my training."

Felipe Anderson played in 32 Serie A matches this past season, scoring 10 goals and dishing out seven assists.
