AC Milan's Primavera talent Hachim Mastour is subject to interest from giants Paris Saint-Germain and AS Monaco, with the former rumoured to have already made an opening offer.

A highly-rated young player, Mastour recently pledged his allegiance to the Moroccan national team controversially, instead of Italy, whom he had represented at U16 level.

Despite being just 17-years of age, Mastour is already being talked about as the next star of Milan alongside Rossoneri teammates, Davide Di Molfetta and Alessandro Mastalli.

A natural winger with silky skills and an eye for goal, he began his youth career at local side Reggiana, and there was a possibility he could have made his debut for the Milan first team towards the end of last season as Filippo Inzaghi (arguably unsuccessfully) looked to experiment with youth.

During the 2014-15 Primavera season, Mastour played just eight games, having suffered with injury problems, leading to an eventual knee operation. Nevertheless, he has still caught the eye of plenty of potential suitors, such as Barcelona, Real Madrid and now the French sides.

PSG make initial bid

Reports suggest that Paris Saint-Germain have opened up with a €5million bid to AC Milan for the 17-year-old, a figure which is highly unlikely to force a sale.

An exact asking price is unknown, however having worked hard to secure the signature of the player two years ago, it is almost impossible that the Rossoneri will let him go for a cheap fee.

Better to stay put?

Mastour will need to be personally convinced that a move to France will benefit his career, just as he will need to be convinced by Milan that he is fully in their plans and not a million miles away from making the big breakthrough.

It is important in the current climate that Italian clubs in general do not sell their academy stars for cheap, as luring them back is very difficult due to the decline of the league.

Nevertheless, the player's wishes will always prevail, and it may be that Mastour already has his head turned.
