Inter Milan confirmed the signings of Felipe Melo, Alex Telles (both Galatasaray) and Adem Ljajic (Roma) late on Monday night as the Italian summer transfer window slammed shut.

Melo joins for a fee of €3.7 million while Telles joins initially on loan as well as Ljajic, both with options to buy inserted in their deals.

 Ljajic deal left late

Inter left the Ljajic deal to the very last minute but were able to submit all appropriate paperwork to get the move completed.

The 23-year-old Serb netted 14 goals in 60 games while with Roma and had found game time over the past few months quite heavily reduced. The former Fiorentina man was spared just one minute across games against Hellas Verona and Juventus and the club had reportedly been looking to move him on all summer.

One in one out in midfield

Earlier in the day Hernanes completed an €11 million move from the San Siro to Juventus leaving a whole in the Inter midfield in the process.

Melo, had been linked with a move to Inter all summer long as well as a move to the aforementioned Juventus.

Personal terms of the deal as well as length of contract are yet to be disclosed to the public, with the former the least likely of the pair to ever be disclosed.

Inter finally get their man

Telles had been first linked at the start of July and Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain were also believed to be vying for the Brazilian's services.

The 22-year-old full back only joined Galatasaray last summer and went on to make a total of 36 appearances in all competitions as the Turkish giants secured a league and cup double.

Marvellous Mercato for Mancini

Inter have undoubtedly had the Mercato of Mercato's by strengthening the areas that most needed strengthening, namely the defence.

Experienced defender Miranda joined from Atletico Madrid, Jeison Murillo joined from Granada and Alex Telles is the latest to join the defensive recruitment list.

Geoffrey Kondogbia was the clubs biggest transfer totalling almost €40 million and it will be interesting to see how himself and Felipe Melo do beside one another in midfield.

Stevan Jovetic joined the club to give support to Capocannoniere winner Mauro Icardi and has already delivered scoring three in his first two. With Ljajic coming in also it will be interesting to see how Roberto Mancini plays his cards up front.
