Real Madrid owner Florentino Perez has revealed that no bid has been made from Manchester United for Gareth Bale and that Los Blancos believe the Welshman is key to their future.

On Monday, in Dubai for the 10 time Champions League winners' trip there, Perez said: "We haven't received an offer from Manchester United or from any other club for Bale".

The Real Madrid president said that Bale wasn't for sale, hence the lack of offers for the most expensive player in history. Perez told press that the biggest clubs in Europe know the Bale is not for sale; "We haven't received any offers for one simple reason: every club knows that Gareth Bale will never leave Real Madrid and that the club will not discuss their star, no matter how much is offered".

The Welshman was vital to Real Madrid's historic campaign last season which saw them won their tenth European Cup and add yet another Copa Del Rey to their huge trophy cabinet. He scored in the finals of both, with the goal against Barcelona in Valencia to win the Copa Del Rey labeled as one of the best of the season. Florentino Perez said "Bale is a key player", adding "He has already done so much for the team and is a key part of our club's future".

As a key player, he is equal to Cristiano Ronaldo says Perez, "Just as I can't imagine Real Madrid without Cristiano, I can't imagine Real Madrid without Bale, either".
