Borussia Monchengladbach will travel to the Estadio Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán to face-off against Sevilla.

The visitors come into the round of 32 tie boasting an unbeaten record from the group stages, as well as sitting third in the Bundesliga. Lucien Favre's side won three and drew three, including a thrilling 2-2 draw against Villarreal the last time they visited Spain. Their excellent form saw them finish at the top of Group A.

Sevilla also hold an impressive record in the Europa League. After winning the competition last season, Unai Emery is determined to see his side retain the title. The hosts are currently on track to do so, having only lost once, and advancing from Group G just one point behind Feyenoord.

However Emery is facing a selection headache ahead of the game, with five players missing through injury. Arguably the most notable absentee will be that of goalkeeper, Beto, who is still unavailable after dislocating his shoulder during the 2-1 defeat to Real Madrid earlier this month. Deputy goalkeeper Sergio Rico will once again replace the Portuguese international, but he will face the difficult task of keeping a lively Monchengladbach attack at bay.

Unlike his counterpart, Lucien Favre has a relatively full squad to choose from. Midfielder Andre Hahn is the only injury doubt with a foot problem, but Favre is expecting him to pass a late fitness test.

Favre and his Foals will be certain to go in search of a crucial away goal in order to tip the balance of the tie in their favour, but they will likely find it difficult to break down a Sevilla side that hasn’t lost at home for over a year.
