Mexican striker Javier Hernandez has expressed his frustration at the lack of playing time that he has received at La Liga giants Real Madrid.
Hernandez joined the European champions on transfer deadline day in the summer on-loan from Premier League side Manchester United and it is unlikely that he will remain at Bernabeu despite Madrid having the option to make the deal permanent at the end of the season.
In an interview with Fox Sports he said: "My situation is frustrating, I co-operate, help and give my 100% in training but in the games the opportunities are slim.”
Hernandez joined the Spanish outfit after he fell down the pecking order at Old Trafford especially with the arrival of Radamel Falcao from AS Monaco and is currently under contract until 2016.
He added: "I'm in a team but left out of what is important, which are the games. At times my confidence is rock bottom although I try for it to be sky high, thanks to the people that are always there with me and support me."
In his 13 league appearances for Carlo Ancelotti’s side he has scored just three goals and assisted one but he feels that he has performed when called upon.
"The most important thing is to have opportunities and feel confidence in yourself, whenever they [Real] have placed their confidence in me, the numbers have been positive.” Hernandez said.
The striker is currently on international duty with his native Mexico - recently started and scored in the 1-0 win over Ecuador on Saturday.
