Deportivo La Coruna travel to the Anoeta on Sunday evening to take on Real Sociedad in Victor Sanchez's first game in charge.

Sanchez replaces Victor Fernandez who was fired after a run of eight games without a win in La Liga. Deportivo are now eighteenth in La Liga after Almeria's 3-0 win over Granada on Saturday and the Galicians are now under pressure to turn things around as soon as possible or they will be relegated for the third time in five seasons. Depor's away form hasn't been great with just ten of their twenty-seven points coming away from the Riazor and they have failed to win on the road since January.

If Depor are to end their recent run of form they will have to do so without Luisinho who is suspended and Cezary Wilk who is injured. Helder Postiga is also doubtful as Victor Sanchez looks set to put his own mark on Deportivo's lineup.

There are no such relegation fears for David Moyes' Real Sociedad side with the Basque's currently sitting twelfth, ten points ahead of the relegation zone with just eight games remaining. La Real have been on a good run of form recently having lost just one of their last five games (last weekend away to Atletico Madrid). Moyes' side have performed well at home with twenty-seven of their thirty-seven points coming at the Anoeta and they will feel confident of adding to that tally on Sunday.

La Real will be without Alberto de la Bella who is injured and there are still some doubts over the availability of attacking duo Alfred Finnbogason and Carlos Vela which means it is likely that Imanol Agirretxe will start up front.

La Real will come into this game as favourites and rightfully so on current form. However, Deportivo find themselves in a desperate situation and they will be hoping that their new manager can have an instant impact to help ease their increasing relegation worries.
