19:40. Unfortunately that's all we've got time for tonight, as we saw Aston Villa defeat West Brom 2-0 to book their place at Wembley for the FA Cup semi finals. I've been Oliver Emmerson for VAVEL UK. Until next time, goodbye.

19:30. Well, looking back to the game. West Brom failed to take their chances in the first half, and were punished by a clinical Villa in the second half thanks to goals from Fabian Delph and Scott Sinclair. There were two bemusing sendings off for Claudio Yacob and Jack Grealish, and then the Villa fans onto the pitch whilst still the game was still going on somewhat soured what should be a big moment for their club.

19:25. The Aston Villa fans are onto the pitch, which most would view as fair enough once the game has finished. However there is no place for the fans that sped on whilst the game wasn't finished, and hopefully they will be prosecuted.

FULL TIME- Aston Villa 2-0 West Brom.

95: We're back underway here after a poor showing from a section of the home fans, really poor. West Brom have a free kick.

94: Daft scenes here at Villa Park! There appear to be fans on the pitch celebrating the win before the match has ended. The other supporters are booing, and the referee might have to take the players off the pitch.

93: Grealish got to the ball ahead of Joleon Lescott and poked the ball past the defender, knocking the ball past him before going over for what the referee deemed as simulation. Two yellow cards here, both very controversial.

93: Jack Grealish sent off for diving!

92: The home fans are singing joyfully as we enter the closing minutes, West Brom don't look like offering much resistance here.

Five minutes of stoppage time announced! Hope for West Brom?

88: Aston Villa substitute- Agbonlahor off, Gil on.

87: Aston Villa are surely now on their way to the semi final's and Wembley Stadium as they double their lead. Unless West Brom can perform a miracle in the closing minutes?

86: It's a brilliant counter attack by Villa, who send Scott Sinclair clear down the left hand side. Sinclair slows the pace down, checks back on his man and bends it beautifully into the corner of the net. Aston Villa 2-0 West Brom!

GOAL! Scott Sinclair makes it 2-0!!

84: West Brom substitute- Gardner off, Mulumbu on.

80: Villa were countering from a West Brom corner, as Claudio Yacob goes to tackle a sliding Ashley Westwood. The referee thinks that Yacob has gone in cynically and gives him a second yellow, however replays are showing that there was no reason for even a foul to be given, yet alone a yellow card. Wrong decision! West Brom down to 10 men.

79: Yacob sent off for a second yellow card! Not quite sure why...

76: Another yellow card, as Yacob hauls down Agbonlahor in full flow.

74: Aston Villa substitute- N'Zogbia off, Grealish on.

72: Villa have found their mojo here, as they go down the right wing before Agbonlahor holds up the ball in, laying it off to Westwood whose shot is blocked out for a corner... which comes to nothing.

70: Sinclair in again, albeit with a harder chance. He takes the ball past his man down the left hand side, but snatches at the ball and drags his shot well wide.

69: Sinclair almost makes it two! Some excellent passing by Aston Villa culminates in Agbonlahor playing Sinclair in. The winger decides not to take it around Myhill, shooting first time. It's a solid save from the 'keeper.

68: West Brom substitution- Olsson off, McManaman on.

65: Carlos Sanchez on for Villa then. Yes, the one with the hair. He's a more defensive player than Cleverley, so presumably Sherwood is trying to preserve their narrow lead rather than add to it.

64: Aston Villa substitution- Cleverley off, Sanchez on.

60: End to end stuff here! Shay Given blocks a through on goal Saido Berahino, before the Villa counter attack is well stopped by Olsson.

56: Lescott what a miss! The corner is flicked off a Villa defender to Joleon Lescott coming in at the back post, everything seems to go into slow motion as the defender leaps, before seeing his header fly wide. Tony Pulis can't believe that his side aren't level here!

55: VillaPark is making some noise now, with the home fans buoyed by their side's opener. West Brom do have a corner though, as they look to fight back.

53: A late challenge from Dawson on Lowton see's Anthony Taylor brandish the first yellow card of the day.

50: Whatever Tim Sherwood said worked, as Aston Villa have come out flying. Charles N'Zogbia dribbles inwards from the right hand side and rolls the ball across to an unmarked Fabian Delph. The vice-captain takes a touch to set himself, and blasts a low shot past Myhill from the edge of the area! Aston Villa 1-0 West Brom.

GOAL!!!! FABIAN DELPH FIRES VILLA AHEAD!

KICK OFF

18:27. It's not for Aston Villa's lack of trying that they're not winning, they just lack that bit of quality in the final third. Carlos Gil as a second half substitute perhaps?

18:22. West Brom have been the better side here, and Brown Ideye will feel that he should have converted one of his chances to put the visitors ahead.

18:20. So that's half time at Villa Park and the score remains Aston Villa 0-0 West Brom.

HALF TIME

46: Villa have their best attack of the half, right at the end as Scott Sinclair drives at the West Brom defence. He puts the ball across the face, and it skids off Olsson and into the hands of Myhill.

One minute of added time is announced.

41: There are some fiery tackles going on here, but the referee seems determined to let the game flow and try not to book anyone. Fabian Delph's long ranger is blocked after being layed off from a free kick.

35: All West Brom again here, as Chris Brunt's deflected volley forces Shay Given into a good save.

33: Craig Dawson leaves Fabian Delph for dead on the right wing with a lovely piece of skill, his cross is equally as good but it can only be met with a soft header from Ideye.

29: Tony Pulis is barking on the touchline about something, perhaps a belated reaction to Brown Ideye's miss after just eight minutes. West Brom really should have gone ahead with that chance.

24: Berahino skips inside from the left into a promising position, but his shot is poor and easily gathered by Given. After a very quick start, the game has somewhat simmered down.

20: Villa are certainly looking much stronger now, with N'Zogbia causing the West Brom defence some problems moving forward.

16: Agbonlahor musters Aston Villa's first shot of the game, but it is easily blocked by a strong looking West Brom defence.

10: West Brom are making all the early running here, doing their best to silence a Villa crowd that is in good voice.

8: Ideye misses a sitter! Craig Gardner in action again as he bursts down the right, swining a low ball across to Brown Ideye. Ideye should score from the edge of the six yard box, but leans back and see's his shot fly over.

7: Superb ball in from West Brom's right hand side which Ideye was waiting to meet before a crucal flick from Vlaar diverted the ball.

5: Great tackle from Craig Gardner to disposess Lowton, he sets up Berahino whose crashing shot is saved by Given.

2: West Brom appear to have started with a four man defence, rather than the three centre back formation that was predicted. Joleon Lescott is at left back, a slightly strange move.

KICK OFF

17:25. The players have concluded their warm ups and are getting ready to go, not long until kick off at Villa Park!

17:15. Predictions? I think that West Brom will be out for revenge after losing it late on Tuesday, and could shock the Villa Park crowd with a 0-2 win. Tweet me your predictions @OlliGing!

17:10. There has already been one quarter final game today, which ended Bradford 0-0 Reading. Those two sides will meet again in a replay.

17:05. Christian Benteke isn't in the Aston Villa squad today, it's been confirmed that this is because of a hip injury.

17:00. For the Baggies, Tony Pulis has again put faith in Saido Berahino and Brown Ideye as an attacking two. Calum McManaman is on the bench, the same winger who was awarded as man of the match when Wigan defeated Manchester City to win the FA Cup in 2013.

16:57. It seems likely that the home side, Aston Villa, will set up in their usual 4-3-3 formation with Scott Sinclair and Charles N'Zogbia supporting Gabriel Agbonlahor from out wide.

16:55. There's the teams announced then, with both sides leaving out big names such as Foster, Guzan, Sanchez and Sessegnon.

West Brom subs- Foster, Wisdom, Baird, Pocognoli, McManaman, Mulumbu, Sessegnon.

Aston Villa subs- Guzan, Calder, Kinsella, Sanchez, Gil, Weimann, Grealish.

West Brom- Myhill, Dawson, McAuley, Lescott, Olsson, Brunt, Morrison, Yacob, Gardner, Berahino, Ideye.

Aston Villa- Given, Bacuna, Vlaar, Okore, Lowton, Cleverley, Westwood, Delph, Sinclair, Agbonlahor, N'Zogbia.

TEAM NEWS

16:35. West Brom also have a rich history in the competition, having won the trophy five times with the most recent cup win being in 1968.

16:30. Aston Villa have won the famous competition seven times, with six of those triumphs coming before 1920. Their last victory was in 1957.

16:25. Morrison said, “There is definitely extra motivation from seeing them celebrating like they had won a cup at the end of the game, because they were struggling and it meant that much to them. The manner of the defeat with the last kick of the game made it worse. But that was the end of it and we’re a team and we can put it right by winning on Saturday."

16:20. West Brom midfielder James Morrison has been speaking about the pain that his side felt after losing to Villa in stoppage time, and how he feels it can motivate them ahead of todays game.

16:15. Around an hour and a half until kick off. Read the match preview, written by Danial Kennedy, here.

16:10. Pulis retaliated, saying “I hope we do [improve to beat them] and it would be lovely to prove him right. While I’m here as manager, head coach or head bottle washer, we’ll do it the way I want here."

16:05. There has been some controversy ahead of the game over managers comments. Tim Sherwood had already riled West Brom before Tuesday's game by calling them a 'little club'. After the game, Sherwood added, "They'll have to improve if they are to stop us going to Wembley," which angered Tony Pulis.

16:00. Just 45 minutes until the teams are announced!

FA Cup Score

15:55. The sides actually played eachother in their last game, a cagey Premier League affair on Tuesday night. After Saido Berahino cancelled out Gabriel Agbonlahor's opener, Christian Benteke scored a stoppage time penalty to hand Villa a crucial three points with a 2-1 win.

15:45. West Brom's season seemed to be drifting in the same directon as Villa's, however they made a managerial change much quicker, with Tony Pulis replacing Alan Irvine in January. The Baggies fortunes have improved significantly since and they belive they are clear from relegation worries now.

15:40. Aston Villa's cup run has been a welcome distraction from their awful league form this season, which has put them in a very real relegation battle. This led to the sacking of Paul Lambert, who was replaced by Tim Sherwood.

15:35. The sides are of course huge local rivals, and will be desperate to knock the other out in order to win a place in the Semi Final's, held at Wembley Stadium.

15:30. Hello, I'm Oliver Emmerson and welcome to my latest live commentary for VAVEL UK. Today, we're bringing you the FA Cup Quarter Final between Aston Villa and West Brom!
