Crystal Palace and Leeds United will be hoping to bounce back from poor runs of form when they face each other on Sunday afternoon.

Both sides are winless in their last four matches, losing and drawing twice each in their recent outings.

With Palace down in 17th place, such a disappointing start to the campaign will be concerning to manager Patrick Vieira after an impressive last season.

Jesse Marsch's side had a strong start to this term, winning three of their first four, but recent results have seen The Whites drop to 12th in the Premier League table.

Here are the details for what could prove to be an important tie, as Crystal Palace and Leeds fight to get their seasons back on track.

  • Team news

Crystal Palace

The only new addition to the length injury list for the South London club is Joachim Andersen, who according to Football.London suffered a calf injury in training.

The defender is expected to miss out as a result of the knock he has picked up, which will concern Vieira as he looks set to lose a key member of his backline.

The 26-year-old Dane adds to Nathaniel Clyne, James McArthur and Jack Butland on the injury list for The Eagles.

Having not won in the league since the August 20 when Palace ran out 3-1 winners against Aston Villa, the players who are available to Vieira will need to be in top form if they are to take all three points on Sunday afternoon.

Leeds United

The visitors also have a number of absentees to contend with.

Luis Sinisterra will begin his suspension having been dismissed against Aston Villa in The Whites' last match and up to five more players could also miss out.

Marsch will not be able to call on the services of Stuart Dallas or Archie Gray through injury.

Meanwhile, Adam Forshaw, Leo Hjelde and Cody Drameh are all doubts for the West Yorkshire side.

In more positive news for Leeds, Patrick Bamford and Jack Harrison could feature at Selhurst Park.

Much like their opponents for the game, the hosts have not won in the league since late August, with an emphatic 3-0 win against then-manager Thomas Tuchel's Chelsea.

The goalless draw against Villa last game followed a 5-2 loss against Brentford, drawing to Everton and leaving Brighton empty handed beforehand.

Leeds will know that they are in need of a win in order to prevent slipping into a relegation battle like last season, which saw The Whites ensure survival on the final day of the campaign.

  • Likely lineups

Crystal Palace

Guaita, Clyne, Guehi, Ward, Mitchell, Mateta, Doucoure, Eze, Eduoard, Ayew, Zaha.

Leeds United

Meslier, Cooper, Koch, Llorente, Davies, Roca, Adams, Harrison, Aaronson, Firpo, Bamford.

  • Key players

Wilfred Zaha

At his best, Wilfred Zaha has the ability to produce the unexpected which helps to lead his team to victory.

The winger has talent in abundance, he can drive at defences and is well known for being an exciting player to watch.

The Ivorian has already netted four times for The Eagles this campaign, which is more than the rest of the squad has scored in the league combined.

He will hope to add to his tally when Leeds come to Selhurst Park on Sunday afternoon.

Brenden Aaronson

American Brenden Aaronson has made a big impact at Leeds having arrived at the club in the summer from RB Salzburg.

The midfielder may have only scored once so far this season, but with energy and intensity in his playing style, he is well liked at Elland Road.

The goal he has scored was proof of his tenacity, chasing down Eduoard Mendy and stealing the ball off the goalkeeper to tap home the opener in Leeds' 3-0 win against Chelsea.

The 21-year-old will need to raise the tempo of the squad around him to ensure they leave South London will a win.
