League One Charlton travel to Old Trafford for the Quarter-Final of the Carabao Cup, looking to cause an upset.

Charlton knocked Brighton & Hove Albion out of the previous round of the Cup, overcoming them on penalties after a goalless game.

Manchester United beat Burnley in the Round of 16 with a 2-0 win to achieve their place in the quarter finals.

This is the first time Charlton have reached this stage of the competition since 2006 where they had a 1-0 defeat against Wycombe WanderersManchester United, however, won the cup in the 2016/17 season.

Manchester United go into the game with a positive string of results in the Premier League whilst Charlton are 12th in League One despite two recent wins which could boost their confidence.

The home team will be looking for another cup run following their win against Everton in the FA Cup

With an eye on this weekends trip to Manchester City, Erik ten Hag could decide to rest some of his key players to keep them in the top 4 in the league. That being said, following their FA Cup win, they could be eager to push for another trophy.

Donny van de Beek is unlikely to feature, after being forced off in injury time against Bournemouth with a knee injury. Bruno Fernandes is also out for this game following a suspension after two yellow cards in the previous two games.

After a strong win against Everton, Ten Hag is likely to stick with his same side, possibly bringing players from off the bench in the second half to allow his top players rest before the weekend.

After winning their previous two league matches with very similar line-ups, Dean Holden is likely to stick with the same line-up going into this game.

The only exception is Ashley Maynard-Brewer who missed their win against Lincoln City with concussion. However, Holden is 'hoping that he's going to be back in full training' to be in the starting lineup on Tuesday night.

Scott Fraser is likely to be included, scoring in both their wins against Portsmouth and Lincoln City
