Following an entertaining round of games across this Emirates FA Cup weekend, all successful teams and fans had to undergo nail-biting moments, as they waited for their side to be drawn in the big one - the Third Round draw.

Premier League and Championship clubs enter at this stage, with the likes of Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool all in the hat.

They had the potential to face the four remaining non-league outfits - Wrexham, Boreham Wood, Chesterfield, and Dagenham & Redbridge (replay with Gillingham).

  • Second Round round-up

The second round was fairly entertaining in itself, as 18 teams made sure of their place in the Third Round of the prestigious cup competition.

Comfortable wins were picked up by Ipswich, Wrexham and Oxford United, smashing four past their respective opponents.

Burton Albion decided to go a step further, making sure they got the job done against Chippenham Town with an impressive six-goal rout.

Just six games saw away victories - Boreham Wood and Chesterfield both shocked Football League opposition on the road, whilst Grimsby and Derby were two others to triumph on unfamiliar ground.

Carrying on with the 'winning away' trend, Fleetwood and Stevenage avoided giant-killings at Ebbsfleet and King's Lynn.

A couple of replays are scheduled to determine who progresses to the Third Round - Dagenham and Gillingham, nor Charlton and Stockport could find an all-important winner in their ties at the weekend.

Elsewhere, other EFL clubs sealed their place in the Third Round, with Forest Green, Portsmouth and Shrewsbury just to name a few.
