Two teams that have featured in some amazing, controversial games throughout their history meet against on Saturday.
Crystal Palace and Liverpool have face each in a number of classics in the last quarter of a century. The Eagles' 4-3 triumph in the 1990 FA cup semi final is a great example.
Then there was the dramatic 3-3 game in 2014, which saw Palace recover from 3-0 down to effectively end Liverpool’s title hopes in the last few minutes.
A familiar face to the visitors
Palace fans will be hoping they are the ones left the happier of the two sets of supporters on Saturday evening, just like in the matches mentioned, and one man they hope will seal the three points is striker Christian Benteke.
The Belgian made the move from Liverpool to Palace in the last transfer window after a difficult spell on Merseyside, and he has massively helped turn their 2016 league form around, with three goals in seven games this season.
Despite not including him in his plans, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has highlighted Benteke’s strengths going into the game, saying “he’s not only good at heading but he’s especially good at heading” and “he also has good technical skills”.
The Belgian scored the winner in this fixture for Klopp’s team last season at Selhurst Park.
Concentration is key
Palace manager Alan Pardew has spoken about his side defensively leading into this fixture, and when speaking about clean sheets he said “we need a little more concentration to get us over the line”.
He also warned his side about Liverpool’s high intensity attacking style, and said that “if you catch them on a wrong day they can be very difficult”.

Palace captain Scott Dann could make a return this weekend after recovering from a hamstring injury.
However, Jason Puncheon looks set to miss out because of a calf injury.
Roberto Firmino, Philippe Coutinho and Sane Mane are all set to return to the Liverpool line up after sitting out the EFL cup win over Tottenham Hotspur during the week.
Jordan Henderson will also be back in the squad, however James Milner is a doubt because of illness leaving Alberto Moreno as a potential starter.
