The match will take place at the Mbombela Stadium in South Africa. Built in 2007, the stadium only opened in 2009 and has a capacity of 43,000 fans. Somalia could use their full strength for the match, including new players Ali Musse and Adi Salim, as well as the return of Gabo, while Eswatini has left out Mthokozisi Gwebu, Mzwandile Mabelesa, Samkelo Ginindza and Xolani Gama, as well as Sandile Gamedze, who was accused of committing a crime and then cut from the national team. Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers

The Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers are in their preliminary phase, where eight teams are currently taking part in four round-robin matches. In addition to this match, the other three are: Djibouti v Liberia, Chad v Mauritius and Sao Tome and Principe v South Sudan. In the last Africa Cup qualifiers, Eswatini finished in group B with three points, behind Togo with eight, Cape Verde with 10 and Burkina Faso with 11. Somalia did not play in the group stage.

World Cup Qualifiers

In the World Cup Qualifiers, Eswatini is in last place in group D, with no points, one behind Mauritius, two behind Angola and four points behind Cameroon, Cape Verde and Libya. In group G, also without a point, Somalia are three points behind Botswana, Guinea, Uganda and Mozambique, as well as six behind Algeria.

Somalia, in addition to their 3-0 defeat in the first leg last week, with goals from Figuairedo, Ndizinisa and Thwala, were also beaten in their two previous matches. Away from home, on November 16, they lost 3-1 to Algeria, with goals from Abdi (own goal), Bounedjah and Slimani, while Yusuf Ahmed pulled one back. On the 21st, now at home, the defeat was 1-0 to Uganda, with a goal from Rogers Mato. Both games were in the group stage of the World Cup Qualifiers.

Eswatini comes into this game with two defeats and one win in the last few times he's been on the pitch. On November 17, at home, the defeat was to Libya in the World Cup Qualifiers, 1-0, with a goal from Ahmed Ekrawa. On November 21, at home once again, the defeat was to Cape Verde, 2-0, with goals from Ryan Mendes and Jamiro Monteiro. And in the first leg of this preliminary round of the African Cup of Nations, the victory came on Wednesday (20), 3-0, with goals from Figuairedo, Ndizinisa and Thwala against Somalia, away from home.
