It looks like Palace will be making an early forced change, as German midfielder Max Meyer comes on to replace Wilfried Zaha, who has picked up an injury. 

No surprises, it's Liverpool who have the first oppotunity in the game. The ball is whipped into the far post, and a Palace player heads it back towards the centre of the box and it falls straight to Gini Wijaldum who will be disappointed he volleyed the ball wide of Wayne Hennessey's goal.

The last time these two sides met was in November at Selhurst Park. Liverpool took the lead through Sadio Mané in the 49th minute. Despite an equaliser from Wilfried Zaha in the 82nd minute, Roberto Firmino found the net three minutes later, to restore and secure the 2-1 victory for the visitors.

Palace have no new injury concerns following their 2-0 win against A.F.C Bournemouth, as Martin Kelly, Jeffrey Schlupp and James Tomkins remain their only absentees.

Palace are off the back of a comfortable 2-0 victory against A.F.C Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium.

Looking at the Premier League table, Palace are currently sat in 9th place, and any points gained will put the Eagles within a closer distance of the likes of Spurs and Sheffield United, who are aspiring to bring European Football to their respective grounds.

Liverpool come into this game off the back of a 0-0 draw against Merseyside rivals, Everton.

The Reds sit top of the table, 20 points clear of second place Manchester City.
