7. Claude Giroux, Philadelphia Flyers: (Josh-6th, Max-8th)

Josh says, “Giroux has absolutely carried the Flyers at times. Other than Jakub Voracek, there hasn’t been a whole lot of support from Flyers wingers that he has received. His arrival in Philly sped up the eventual trades of Mike Richards and Jeff Carter, and he has not disappointed. He’s had three 25+ goal seasons, with great assist numbers, too. He had 65 assists in 2011-2012, for an overall point total of 93 that year. At just 26, he has plenty of great years ahead.”

Max says, “Claude Giroux is the captain of the Philadelphia Flyers, who have been having a down year this year. However, Giroux is still the best player the Flyers have. To blame all the Flyers problems on him is completely unfair. Last year he led them to the playoffs with a pretty bad team around him.”
