With a lack of playing time, Real Madrid have decided to loan youngster Denis Cheryshev to Valencia

The Russian who has been on loan at Sevilla and Villarreal as well, was apart of the Copa Del Rey debacle that essentially kicked Real Madrid out of the competition and he has played little this season.

He will be joining Valencia who are without a win in 10 games and the heat is on new manager Gary Neville as they are slipping in the table.

No time at Madrid

Under Rafa Benetiz Cheryshev failed to find any significant time under him. Now under new manager Zinedine Zidane he has failed to play in any matches and he has subsequently been loaned. With the midfield as crowded as it is in Madrid, there was no space for the youngster and he can now go and prove himself in another club once again.

Valencia are going nowhere

It has been a shamble of a time for Valencia as they haven't won a game since January 7th. They recently dropped points against Sporting Gijon this weekend and tensions are rising in Valencia.

New manager Gary Neville has failed to motivate the players and their play is simply not good enough right now. Valencia are now 12th in the standings and nine points off the last European spot. Right now it's looking like they will need a miracle run to qualify for Europe again if they don't win the Europa League

But they are still in the Europa League as they face off against Rapid Wien with the first leg coming in about two weeks.

But signing Cheryshev is a confusing move as he is not yet a dynamic playmaker that will changed the Valencia offense by himself. He has great potential but Valencia have to start thinking about now and the season right now. The lack of European football could drive players away from the club this summer if they don't turn things around this season.
