With recent rumors of the MLS heading to El Paso, the addition of New York City FC and the adding of another team in Orlando, there's no secret that the league is always looking to expand their borders. With plenty of cities capable of hosting teams, there are only some of the cities where an MLS team would fit perfectly.

1. Las Vegas, Nevada. Las Vegas would be an excellent place for Major League Soccer. Las Vegas gets many tourists throughout the year, and if MLS had a team in las Vegas, that could bring in a lot of attention.

2. San Antonio, Texas. They have a great NBA team that has millions of fans. Why can't a MLS team in that city do the same? This city could possibly bring in even more fans than Las Vegas.

3. St. Louis, Missouri. This one would be very interesting to see. How many people are interested in soccer there? They have been called a "soccer town", but they don't have an MLS team. Do they want one?

4. El Paso, Texas. If the San Antonio MLS team doesn't happen, then this one should. The city is pushing hard, very hard, to get an expansion team there. They deserve to have one with the effort they are putting into this.

5. Phoenix, Arizona. Many people in Arizona want an MLS expansion team, so why not give it to them? It would help the league, and you would be closer to the 24+ teams the league wants.

6. Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This one, like all of the others would be interesting. Do they like soccer? Do they want a major team? There are many questions that need to be answered before this city is concidered for an expansion team.

7. New Orleans, Louisiana. New Orleans has a lower league team already, so do they want MLS? New Orleans could potentially get many fans to enjoy MLS.

8. Detroit, Michiagn. It has the most population in the state, which makes it a great place in Michigan po put an expansion team. Like many other teams, it would gather fans statewide, and cause them to look MLS, and that would help MLS grow in many ways.

9. Anchorage, Alaska. It would have to be an indoor stadium that they would play in, of course, but it would be worth it. Alaska, just like Las Vegas, gets many tourists, and would be highly benificial to the league. Alaska doesn't have any major sports teams, so it's about time they should get one.

10. Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Wyoming must feel left out, since they don't have any major sports team, but states around it do. An expansion team for Wyoming would be good for both the State, and the league in many ways.
