The Portuguese soccer federation has confirmed on Tuesday morning that Cristiano Ronaldo has tested positive for the Coronavirus. The federation did confirm however that he is doing well and has zero symptoms. He most recently played as of Sunday night at the Stade de France in the UEFA Nations League, a match that finished 0-0.

Ronaldo was removed from the lineup against Sweden that is scheduled for Wednesday night. The Portuguese Federation also confirmed that since he tested positive they held another round of tests and the rest of the team tested negative.

The team is scheduled to practice normally ahead of their match being played at home in Lisbon. Both Portugal and France lead Group 3 with seven points each after playing three matches.
