Estadio San Siro

The Giuseppe Meazza Stadium (in Italian, Stadio Giuseppe Meazza), also known as San Siro Football Stadium (in Italian, Stadio Calcistico San Siro), is a sports stadium located in the city of Milan, Italy, in the San Siro district. A. C. Milan and F. C. Internazionale, sporting rivals, play their home matches there.

It was inaugurated on September 19, 1926 and with a capacity of 80,018 spectators, it is the largest stadium in Italy. It is classified by UEFA as an "elite stadium" (category 4), which allows it to host European finals, such as the Champions League finals of 1965, 1970, 2001 and 2016.

Generally speaking, when F. C. Internazionale plays as home team, its fans call it "Giuseppe Meazza", while when A. C. Milan plays as home team, its fans call it "San Siro".

Lazio have started a SA campaign with nine or more goals scored in the first two matchdays for the first time in their history. Curiously, even in its only previous seasons in which it won the Scudetto (1973/74 and 1999/00), the "Biancocelesti" did not reach the total of nine or more goals scored before the fifth matchday.

Only two teams recorded more than Lazio's eight away defeats at both halftime and the end of the game last season, but they look a different side this campaign. Despite conceding the first goal in the first four minutes in both of their league games so far, they have recovered to eventually lead by two or more goals at halftime on each occasion.

Lazio dropped just two points after leading at halftime all of last season (G13, E1).

AC Milan have started the Serie A (SA) season with two wins, just as they did in the last campaign, where they surprisingly led the league until mid-February. The "Rossoneri" side has already raised the expectations of their fans after scoring four goals during the first half (against Cagliari) in their last outing -- a feat they last achieved in November 2011.
Largely due to that overwhelming performance, Milan have scored four of their five goals in this SA season in the first 30 minutes of play, although this is nothing new, as that period saw them score 25 goals in the last campaign -- more than any other team in the league. He will be aiming for more of the same, especially after seeing how each of the last six meetings against Lazio (G3, P3) ended up being won by the side that opened the scoring.
