New technology that will analyze the performance of each player

A team of experts is analyzing every player during every second of every 2021 FIFA Arab Cup match; a game-changing development that is spawning a wave of new perspectives on performance, in line with FIFA's vision of increasing global competitiveness through technology.

Analysts are using the new FIFA Soccer Language, which has been in the making for more than two years and was unveiled on Wednesday. It provides coaches and players around the world with an open resource that harmonizes technical knowledge and develops all categories of football.

For each 2021 FIFA Arab Cup match, each member of a team of analysts is assigned a player on the pitch to monitor, track and code their individual performance. That includes recording a player's movements, with and without the ball; how many times does he cross defensive lines, and how much pressure does he exert on opponents carrying the ball.

This is how both teams arrive

In Group B, Tunisia will try to prolong their triumphs despite facing tough opponents. While Syria will look to score its first tournament points tonight.

The Tunisian team scored five goals on its debut in the competition. His attack is the most prolific of the tournament, thanks to two doubles from Mohamed Firas Ben Larbi and Seifeddine Jaziri and a goal from Youssef Msakni.

However, the mission will not be easy against the Syrian team, who had a great performance in the second half of their opening match against the United Arab Emirates and came close to achieving a draw.

Key player of Tunisia

Seifeddine Jaziri made his international debut in January 2016, however, after spending four years and eight months waiting for the call from the Tunisian team, his efforts have allowed him to enjoy a moment of glory today.

The Zamalek striker entered his name in the record books when he scored the first goal in the history of the FIFA Arab Cup, but the best was yet to come, when he scored his second goal from an exquisite high heel, and then received the award to the best player of the match.

This is how Tunisia arrives

Tunisia defeated Mauritania 5-1 in the first match of the FIFA Arab Cup at the Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium on Tuesday. Tunisia, ranked 29th in the FIFA rankings, struggled to establish dominance in the opening minutes of the match, but scored three quick goals late in the first half to lay the foundation for a solid performance.

Led by Mondher El Kabir, Tunisia has achieved its fifth victory over Mauritania in eight games. This team reached the Arab Cup after victories over Equatorial Guinea, Zambia and Mauritania in the qualifying rounds of the Qatar World Cup. Tonight the Tunisian team will try to impose its superiority in the match from the opening whistle.

This is how Syria arrives

Syria was defeated by the United Arab Emirates in their opening match of this FIFA Arab Cup 2021, increasing their winless streak to eight matches, six of those eight ending in a loss. There is a great inequality in terms of quality between the two teams, which is why Tunisia comes as favorites for this game.

Valeriu Tita's team had a very weak performance in their presentation in this tournament and had the fortune to recover a ball outside the area, which allowed Ward to the Slamh to score the goal that brought Syria into contention. However, as the minutes passed, it was no longer enough for them to draw and in the end they took the disaster.
