Once in a blue moon
John Stones' goal was also his first in over three years
FULL TIME
John Stones gave City the lead after a free kick travelled all the way across the six yard box as he tapped home at the back post.
Fernandinho then sealed the result in emphatic style, volleying home a partially-cleared corner past the stationary Henderson.
All in all, probably a deserved victory with City looking the more comfortable on the ball.
United had chances to score themselves, but ultimately their poor final third play let them down.
City will now meet Spurs in the final at Wembley on April 25th.

Manchester United Team News
The 33-year-old striker serves the second match of a three-game ban handed down by the Football Association for using a racial term in a social media post.
Long-term absentee Phil Jones remains sidelined but United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer says he has no other injury concerns, which means Victor Lindelof should return from a back complaint.
Fourth time lucky?
Can his side end the streak against their neighbours, who coincidentally knocked them out at this stage of last season's Carabao Cup.
