Pacers' Copeland Stabbed in NYC; Hawks' Sefolosha & Antic Arrested For Hindering Police

In a wild scene in a New York City nightclub, Chris Copeland and his former partner Katrina Saltara were stabbed, and Thabo Sefolosha and Pero Antic were arrested following the incident for obstructing govermental administration.

The Atlanta Hawks' Thabo Sefolosha & Pero Antic were arrested in New York City last night for obstructing governmental administration. This came after the Pacers' Chris Copeland and his ex wife, Katrina Saltara were stabbed at the 1 Oak nightclub.

The attacker stabbed Copeland and then slashed Saltara's arm and leg. A second woman by the name of Catherine Somani, 53, was slashed in the abdomen. Copeland is currently in stable condition at an NYC hospital according to the Indiana Pacers.

Antic & Sefolosha were arrested for trying to prevent police from setting up a crime scene. Antic was charged with disorderly conduct and menacing. Sefolosha was charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. The New York Times reported that Sefolosha "charged at an officer" and Antic "physically grabbed another police officer." The Atlanta Hawks are aware of the situation and will comment when further information becomes available.

These events occured just hours after the Hawks defeated the Suns in Atlanta to clinch a franchise record 58 wins. They will take on the Nets in Brooklyn tonight.
