Cleveland Cavaliers guard Mo Williams joined SiriusXM NBA Radio on Monday to discuss what motivated him to go back to Northeast Ohio and play for the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Mo Williams said, "There's no monetary factor involved in any of my decisions. At this point of my career now it's just playing winning basketball, playing for championships."

The decision for Williams to return to Cleveland again and to compete for a championship for Cleveland really attracted Williams after his previous tenure with the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Mo Williams continued to say, "It feels home. There's just that team where you kind of feel like, you know what? I would never want to leave this organization. Obviously the business of basketball changes the landscape of a lot of people's careers and mine was no different, but to have the opportunity to come back and finish my career there and have the opportunity to go out on top I couldn't ask for a better situation."

Mo Williams agreed to a two-year deal with the Cleveland Cavaliers this summer, and he took a lesser deal to sign with the Cavaliers. Williams played with LeBron James and the Cavaliers in 2008-2010, and Williams put together an All-Star year in 2009. Williams now comes to Cleveland and looks to compete for an NBA championship, something that eluded him when he was in Cleveland the last time around back in 2009 and 2010. Williams has yet to win a championship in his NBA career. Expect Williams to get playing time off the bench as a primary back up point guard for Kyrie Irving this upcoming season.

Williams is a good scorer and play maker that can help the Cavaliers off the bench, something the Cavs desperately needed in the NBA finals when Kyrie Irving was out with a knee injury. The 6-foot-1 veteran averaged 14.2 points and 6.2 assists last season, while shooting 39.7 percent from the field and 34.2 percent from three-point range for the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Charlotte Hornets. Williams also had a 52-point game last season for the Minnesota Timberwolves. Mo Williams has played for eight different teams throughout his 12 seasons in the NBA.
