Since his arrival to the NBA, Zion Williamson has become one of the most popular players in the league. His unreal athleticism and talent led him to be the No. 1 overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft.
One year in and he keeps expanding his brand. Now, Zion is really close from becoming the cover of the video game, NBA2K.
The game released its trailer along with the presentation of the new Sony’s next-gen Playstation 5. The graphics looked unreal, and Zion was the player who featured on the preview.
In case Zion is selected to be the cover, he would become the youngest player to received such an exclusive honor. Chris Paul (2008) and Anthony Davis (2016) are currently the youngest players to be featured on covers at 22 years of age.
Williamson, who has an existing 2K endorsement deal, has played 19 games his rookie season and averaged 23 points and 6.8 rebounds per game.
