The CDC regulations state that any person that is at least 65 years old, has more chances to be affected by the Coronavirus than others. Therefore, this means some NBA coaches won't be traveling to the Orlando resumed season.

Adrian Wojnarowski from ESPN revealed that the Pelicans associate head coach Jeff Bzdelik, won't be attending Walt Disney World. The 67 year-old will still be able to work remotely and advise the team on strategies while he’s in New Orleans.

New Orleans coach, Alvin Gentry, 65, revealed to the press that he intents to travel to Orlando and coach his team. The Pelicans are in the middle of a playoff push, 3.5 games behind the 8th. seed in the Western Conference.

On the other hand, Chris Haynes from Yahoo Sports revealed that Lakers assistant coach Lionel Hollins will also not join the team in Orlando, since he was “red-flagged” as a health concern.

The 66 year-old was disappointed but at the end of the day understands this is the right decision, considering his health comes first, and a game second.
